HOW DO I SUBMIT?

All submissions are welcome and can be officially submitted through our FilmFreeway page for consideration. Please kindly submit your film projects here .

Please note that our festival is competition-based and open to the public.

WHAT IS CONSIDERED A SHORT FILM?

In order for your film to be considered a short film, it should be less than 45 minutes long.

I RECEIVED NEWS THAT MY FILM GOT NOMIMATED/SELECTED! WHEN CAN I SHARE THE NEWS?

The invitation made to each film nominated/selected by the Just Shorts will remain strictly confidential between the festival’s coordination team and the producers or representatives of the invited film until such time as the Festival decides to make an official announcement in this regard.

DOES MY FILM HAVE TO BE SUBTITLED?

All films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles (if in a different language).

CAN I SUBMIT A TRAILER?

No, we do not accept trailers as pre-selection material.

CAN I SUBMIT WORK IN PROGRESS?

No, work in progress will not be considered by the Festival Programming Team. However, if you wish to replace the submitted film with a different version of it, you can do so manually through FilmFreeway.

I SUBMITTED MY FILM FOR THE PREVIOUS EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL. SHOULD I SUBMIT AGAIN THIS SEASON?

In case you submitted your film for the festival’s previous edition, you can submit your film again.

DO I GET MY MONEY BACK IF THE FILM IS NOT SELECTED?

No. We do not provide refunds for non-selected films.

WILL I RECEIVE FEEDBACK?

No. Due to the high volume of submissions received each year, we are unable to provide feedback to each and one of you.
